We will begin our exploration with the Emperor’s Mosque and Bridge, two magnificent examples of Ottoman architecture. Before the Ottomans conquered the whole of Bosnia, the founder of Sarajevo, Isa Bey Ishaković, ordered the construction of a wooden mosque in the same place where the Emperor’s Mosque is today, towards which he built a wooden bridge
You will see the food street, called Bravadžiluk, and find out where you can try the best traditional food in Sarajevo. Also you’ll see Kazandžiluk street – the oldest street in Sarajevo founded in Ottoman times. The name Kadzandžiluk means Coopersmith street.

Gazi Husrev Bey’s bezistan (bazar or covered marketplace) is only one of the preserved bezistans in Sarajevo, which still serves its purpose – trade. There are also the remains of a building called a han. Han was a kind of hotel, actually a free hotel where travelers could spend one night and get one free meal and then continue their journey in the morning.
Conclude our tour at the iconic Latin Bridge, an exquisite Ottoman bridge connecting to the neighborhood of Latinluk, which once housed the Christian community during Ottoman times. This very bridge marked a turning point in history when Gavrilo Princip’s assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife ignited the flames of World War I.
